Everyday Representations
Object #1
The first object I chose is braille. I see it in every building, since its an accessibility feature, and notice it almost everywhere. Around the world braille is used as a representation of both latin and non latin languages. It's also its own type of language, making it a very accurate representation of itself.

For my second object I chose a mirror. The photo is of a smaller, table mirror, but it’s meant to represent any size. Every mirror can show a representation of whatever is reflected in them. It isn’t always a person, whatever is in view of a mirror will be reflected, technically making a separate version of itself. These other versions are the closest thing we can get to a true representation.

For my last object I chose my smart watch. While in class I was reminded of it while talking about maps and calendars, since both of those are features of the watch, but they aren’t the focus of this decision. My watch is representative of many different things, both because of the software, and because of its original intention. All watches are a representation of time, similar to calendars, and they show it in hours, minutes, and seconds.
